Burnham Company of Archers was originally founded in the early seventies as "King Alfred's Bowmen". In 1976/77 the club moved to its current location and became BCOA. We are a keen group of enthusiasts that enjoy fresh air and good company with a view to having fun along the way. Frome Town Archers is a friendly Archery Club based in the market town of Frome in Somerset. The Club is affiliated with the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS). For the beginner, we offer: Have-a-go days, Beginners’ courses, Use of equipment, Membership. And, for the more experienced archer: Excellent facilities for shooting practice, Targets from 20 up to 100 yards, Membership benefits
Yeo Bowmen Archery Club was formed in 1963, and is based at Johnson Park (Yeovil Sports & Social Club), Coronation Avenue, Yeovil Somerset Our club members meet in the summer April/September inc. on Thursday evenings from 6 - 8pm and Sunday afternoons from 2 - 6pm. Winter shooting is held indoors from October/March inc. Sunday evenings 6.00 - 8.00pm. We belong to G.N.A.S. (The National Archery Society).
